GETTING STARTED
1. Remove packing material and stickers.
2. Register your warranty online.
3. Wash removable parts.
4. Select a suitable location with proper ventilation.
5. Plug into an electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR OVEN
The oven gets hot; use oven mitts or pot holders. Expect slight smoke/odor during initial use.
HOW TO USE
TOASTING: Select TOAST for temperature and function, set shade selector, place items on rack, close door. Oven signals completion.
BAKING: Preheat for 10 mins. Select temperature and BAKE function. Set timer or STAY ON. Place food on rack. Oven signals completion.
BROILING: Preheat for 10 mins. Select BROIL for temperature and function. Use bake pan as drip tray. Set timer or STAY ON. Oven signals completion.
KEEP WARM: Select KEEP WARM function. Set timer or STAY ON. Use for short periods, cover food with foil if needed. Oven signals completion.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Oven does not operate. Unit is not plugged in. Plug unit into a live outlet.
Oven door is not closed properly. Close door firmly.
Timer not set. Set timer or select STAY ON.
Oven does not heat. Temperature control set to OFF. Set temperature control to desired setting.
Function control set to OFF. Set function control to desired function (TOAST, BAKE, BROIL, KEEP WARM).
Timer set to OFF. Set timer to desired time or select STAY ON.
Smoke/Odor during operation. Grease or food particles on heating elements or oven interior. Clean oven interior and crumb tray thoroughly. (See CARE AND CLEANING)
New unit. This is normal during initial use and should stop.
Food is burning. Temperature setting too high. Reduce temperature setting.
Cooking time too long. Reduce cooking time.
Food too close to top heating elements. Ensure food or baking dish is at least 1.5 inches away from top heating elements.
Crumb tray not in place or not clean. Ensure crumb tray is in place and clean.
Food is not cooked thoroughly. Temperature setting too low. Increase temperature setting.
Cooking time too short. Increase cooking time.
Oven not preheated properly. Preheat oven for at least 10 minutes before baking or broiling.
Food placed too far back on rack. Ensure food is placed centrally on the rack.
Burn marks on toast. Shade selector set too high. Reduce shade selector setting.
Toast lever not set properly. Ensure toast lever is fully depressed.
Crumb tray not in place or not clean. Ensure crumb tray is in place and clean.
