  • Read all instructions before use.

  • Do not operate on unstable surface or near hot surfaces.
  • Ensure proper space and ventilation; keep away from flammable materials.
  • Always unplug after use and allow to cool before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse housing in water.
  • Wear oven mitts when handling hot surfaces.
  • Ensure at least 5 inches of clearance on top, back, and sides.
  • Do not place on cooktop.
  • Check countertop manufacturer recommendations for surface protection.
  • Intended for normal household use only.
  • Fan continues to run after cooking to cool down appliance.
  • Cook only using provided trays, racks, etc.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Your appliance is not working correctly. The appliance is not plugged in. Plug power cord into wall outlet.
The appliance has not been turned on by setting the preparation time and temperature. Set the temperature and time.
The appliance is plugged into an outlet that is shared with other devices. Plug the appliance into a dedicated power outlet.
Food is not cooked The appliance is overloaded. Use smaller batches for more even cooking.
The temperature is set too low. Raise temperature and continue cooking.
Food is not fried evenly Some foods need to be turned during the cooking process. Check halfway through process and turn food if needed.
Foods of different sizes are being cooked together. Cook similar-sized foods together.
Too much oil is being used. Wipe down to remove excess oil.
Accessories have excess grease residue from previous cooking. Clean the components and appliance interior after each use.
Smoke coming from appliance Grease or juice is dripping onto the heating element. Place the Baking Pan below the Crisper Tray or Wire Rack when cooking food with a high moisture content.
Wrong type of potato being used. Use fresh, firm potatoes.
French fries are not fried evenly Potatoes not blanched properly during preparation. Use cut sticks and pat dry to remove excess starch.
Too many fries are being cooked at once. Cook less than 2 1/2 cups of fries at a time.
Raw fries have too much water. Dry potato sticks properly before misting oil.
Fries are not crispy Cut sticks smaller. Cut sticks smaller.
