Winding: Lift the hinged winding key and wind the motor fully by turning the key clockwise. Do not wind further after the check.

Opening the camera: Lift the hinged semicircular ring on the camera lid and turn it left.

Opening the pressure-pad: Lay the camera down with the lid towards you and open the pressure-pad by moving the lever.

Readying the film: Place the full spool, preventing film from loosening. Slip the film end into the empty spool slits. Wind 2-3 turns onto the take-up spool.

Inserting film: Unwind about 6 inches of film. Insert film into the camera, ensuring the shiny side faces you. Slip take-up spool onto its spindle. Turn hand to tighten film. Close pressure-pad and test by pressing the filming button briefly.

Filming: Intermittent running is achieved by pressing the release button. Continuous running is achieved by pressing and holding the release button.
