Loading

Use any 35mm film. Load in subdued light. Hold camera lens down, remove back. Insert film cartridge, align film with winding spool, engaging sprocket teeth. Thread film under spring tongue, align over gate. Turn winding knob to wind film. Replace cover and lock. Bring film to first exposure position by lifting and turning winding knob twice. Set frame counter to 0. Set film indicator. Check diaphragm and exposure time.

Viewing and Focusing

View subjects in the reflex viewer for full picture area. Move focusing lever until subject is sharp. Center and square subject. For critical focus, use the flip-up magnifier. Coupled rangefinder helps with action shots. Focus as close as two feet.
