Troubleshooting and error codes

What to do if... Possible cause Remedy
Drying result is not satisfactory (laundry feels too damp). Warm laundry feels damper than it really is. The selected programme does not suit the load. Dryer installed too closely to other objects? Use another drying programme or timed programme. Ensure adequate air circulation. Use Fine adjust for dryness levels. Clean moisture sensors. Ensure sufficient air supply. Ventilate the room.
Drying time too long. Programme termination (e.g. mains power supply failure, door open). Fluff filter clogged. Insufficient supply of air. Ambient temperature too high. Clean fluff filter. Ensure air circulation. Ventilate room.
The humidity in the room increases. Exhaust air duct installed incorrectly. Ensure exhaust air routes directly into the open air. Check installation conditions.
One or more indicator lights are flashing. Fluff filter clogged. Exhaust air duct blocked or bent. Power failure. Clean fluff filter. Check exhaust air duct. Switch off, cool down, switch back on, and restart.
Power failure. Appliance has stopped due to power cut. Remove laundry immediately and spread out to dissipate heat. Be careful as components may be hot.
Condensation in the exhaust air duct. Exhaust air duct too long. Check maximum exhaust air duct length.
Dryer does not start. Mains plug not plugged in. Programme not selected. Socket fuse faulty. Energy-saving mode activated. Appliance in sleep mode after 'Finished in' option. Check plug and socket. Select programme. Check fuse. Refer to Energy-saving mode instructions. Wait for display to activate.
Programme terminates shortly after starting. Load too small for selected programme. Loaded laundry already dry. Use timed programme.
Water is leaking out. Dryer not level. Make sure the dryer is level.
The door opens by itself. Door not closed properly. Push the door closed until it engages.
