Warranty Information

Bosch warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 365 days from the date of original delivery.

Turning on a burner:

  1. Place cookware on the grate.
  2. Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the ignition setting (indicated by a symbol, usually a spark or flame).
  3. Sparks will be produced on all burners while holding the knob.
  4. The selected burner flame should ignite.
  5. Release the control knob.

Turning off a burner: Turn the control knob clockwise to the "off" position.

Manual ignition (power failure):

  1. Hold the control knob for the selected burner and turn it counter-clockwise to the highest power level.
  2. Hold a lit lighter or match against the burner.

Flame failure safety system: If the burner flame extinguishes, turn the control knob to "off" and wait at least 1 minute before relighting. After ignition, hold the control knob down for 4 seconds to activate the safety system.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Cause and troubleshooting
The general electrical system of the appliance is not working.

The circuit breaker in the circuit breaker panel has tripped.

  1. Check circuit breaker or fuse box to your house.
  2. Make sure there is proper electrical power to the appliance.

The plug for the power cord is not plugged in.

There has been a power failure.

► Check whether the lighting in your kitchen or other appliances in the room are working.

The automatic ignition is not working.

Food remnants, dirt, or cleaning products are located between the igniters and the burners.

► Clean the space between the igniter and the burner.

► Carefully dry the burner parts.

The burner parts are not positioned correctly.

► Position the burner parts correctly.

The appliance is not connected properly to the power supply.

► Contact a qualified electrician.

The burner flame is not uniform.

The burner parts are not positioned correctly.

► Position the burner parts correctly.

The grooves on the burner are dirty.

► Clean the grooves on the burner.

The gas flow is not normal or there is no gas.

The gas supply is blocked by intermediate gas valves.

► Open the gas valves.

The gas cylinder is empty.

► Replace the gas cylinder.

A gas valve has been left on.

► Turn off the gas taps.

Incorrect coupling of gas cylinder.

► Check the proper connection to the gas cylinder.

The gas pipe to the appliance is leaking.

  1. Shut off the gas supply at the main gas valve.
  2. Ventilate the premises.
  3. Immediately notify an authorised installation technician to check and certify the installation.
  4. Do not use the appliance until you can be sure there are no gas leaks in the gas supply line or the appliance.
There is a smell of gas in the kitchen.

A gas valve has been left on.

► Turn off the gas taps.
