This appliance is designed for domestic use only, for cooking purposes. It is not intended for commercial use, as a heating system, or for use in marine crafts, caravans, or mobile homes. Ensure the kitchen is well-ventilated during operation. Do not use with external timers or remote controls. It is designed for use up to 2000 meters above sea level. Never leave the appliance unattended. Keep children supervised.
Familiarize yourself with the burner locations and controls. Each knob controls a specific burner and can be set to various output levels between maximum and minimum. Ensure all burner parts and pan supports are correctly installed.
Burners can be switched on manually by pressing and turning the control knob, or automatically if your appliance has ignition plugs. A safety system (thermocouple) is in place to cut off gas if a burner is accidentally switched off. To switch off a burner, turn the control knob clockwise to the 0 setting.
Use the provided tables for optimal heat settings and cooking times for various foods. Always use cookware that is the right size and placed in the center of the burner. Do not use pans that overhang the edge of the hob. Ensure pan supports and burner caps are correctly positioned.
Once the appliance is cool, clean with a sponge, soap, and water. Clean burner parts after each use. Dry thoroughly. Use a stainless steel cleaner for stainless steel zones. Do not use steam cleaners.
