Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
Cannot connect to the unit in the Web browser after Factory Default or firmware update. Reboot the unit using the web browser IP address and /reset, or use Configuration Manager to restart. If problems persist, cycle power.
Unit identified as "Videojet Generic" in Configuration Manager/BVMS. Reboot the unit or cycle power. If the issue persists, contact Bosch Service Center.
Camera doesn't start up, fails to power up via PoE, or cannot search an IP address. Press the hardware reset button for more than 8 seconds.
Camera firmware crashed or image frozen. Press the hardware reset button for more than 8 seconds.
Forgot password. Perform a hardware reset (press and hold reset button for >8 seconds).
Cannot update firmware. Ensure power is applied and try again. If the issue persists, perform a hardware reset.
Camera disconnects from network randomly. Check network connections and power supply. Perform a hardware reset if necessary.
Camera no longer finds pre-positions. Reconfigure pre-positions or perform a hardware reset.
Cannot configure camera using web browser. Check network connectivity and try accessing via IP address. Perform a hardware reset if needed.
Camera has no video out. Check video connections and power. Perform a hardware reset if the issue persists.
