To insert a diskette, check that the left-hand opening is closed. If not, close it with the slider. Insert the diskette label-up until it clicks. To remove, press the eject button. Ensure the activity light is off. After removal, open the slider to write-protect.
Handle with clean, grease-free hands. Do not touch the blank underside. Hold by the edges. Do not bend or write on the CD/DVD. Do not use solvents for cleaning. Clean fingerprints/dust with a soft cloth. Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.
To insert a CD/DVD, press the button to open the drive drawer. Place the CD/DVD label-up in the center of the tray. Close the drawer by pressing the button again.
