Warranty Information

Bosch Vision dryers come with a limited product warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period.

Using the Dryer

1. Open the dryer door.

2. Check the lint filter for lint and clean if necessary. This reduces drying time and saves energy.

3. Turn the Cycle Selector to the desired drying cycle. Select the program from the cycle selection table that corresponds to the laundry in the dryer.

4. If necessary, select an available option by pressing the corresponding button (e.g., Delicates, ECO Action).

5. Load the dryer with dry laundry, spreading items apart to reduce clumping.

6. Close the door securely.

7. Press the "Start/Pause" button to begin the cycle. The Start/Pause indicator light will illuminate.

8. After the cycle is complete, open the door and remove the laundry promptly.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Remedy
Dryer does not start. <<Start/Stop>> indicator light is not on. The plug is not connected or is improperly connected. Connect the plug correctly.
A fuse has blown or the circuit breaker tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.
The "Start/Stop" button was not pressed. Press the "Start/Stop" button.
No program was selected. Select a program.
The door is not closed. Close the door.
The cycle has been interrupted. An alert tone sounds and the display shows "CLn". The ambient temperature is below 41°F/5°C. Increase the ambient temperature.
The lint filter is dirty. Clean the lint filter as described on page 61. Turn off the dryer, then turn it back on. If the error code does not clear, call customer service (page 66).
The cycle has been interrupted. An alert tone sounds and the display shows "E:12". The exhaust air duct is blocked or too long. Clean the exhaust air duct. Reduce the exhaust air duct length to its maximum length as described on page 51. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
Desired moisture level not achieved or drying time is too long. The display indicates "E:03". There is a program failure or a machine failure. Turn off the dryer, let it cool for 30 minutes, then turn it back on. Restart the program.
The environment or cabinet does not have sufficient ventilation. Provide sufficient fresh air access. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
The moisture sensor is dirty. Clean the moisture sensor as described on page 29. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
The exhaust air duct is blocked or too long. Clean the exhaust air duct. Reduce the exhaust air duct length to its maximum length as described on page 51. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
The lint filter is dirty. Clean the filter as described on page 61. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
The laundry is too wet. Centrifuge the laundry at a higher speed in the washing machine. Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
An unsuitable program was selected. Select the program with the help of the corresponding table (see page 59). Turn off and then turn on the dryer.
The maximum drying time has been exceeded. Clean the lint filter (see page 61). Check the exhaust air duct. Centrifuge the laundry at a higher speed in your washing machine.
The motor has exceeded the maximum temperature. Turn off the dryer, let it cool for 30 minutes, and then turn it back on. Start the program.
The "Start/Stop" indicator light does not illuminate. The "Wrinkle block" indicator light is not on. The display indicates "000". No program was selected. Select a program.
The light bulb is defective or burned out. Replace the burned-out bulb and reinstall the cover as indicated on page 76.
No power supply. Check that the power supply is working correctly.
The light bulb is loose. Remove the light bulb cover and, if the bulb is loose, tighten it. Reinstall the cover as indicated on page 76.
The LED lint filter indicator light blinks intermittently after cleaning the lint filter. Program error or machine failure. Turn off the dryer, let it cool for 30 minutes, and then turn it back on. Restart the program.
The display shows "---". Laundry was detected in the drum during the wool cycle (the laundry is not in the basket). Place the laundry in the dryer basket. Restart the program.
Unusual noise: dull thudding noise: Dryer is unbalanced. The suspension rollers of the drum need time to warm up. No action is required. When the suspension rollers of the system heat up, the dull noise will diminish and should stop after 2-3 minutes of using the dryer. Level the dryer (refer to the "Installation Instructions" section of the user manual).
Unusual noise: continuous vibration, Dryer is unbalanced. The load is bouncing because the laundry has clumped into a ball. Stop the dryer, separate the items, turn the dryer back on.
No water is sprayed in the unit during the Steam cycles. The water tap(s) is/are not open. Open the water tap.
The nozzle is not spraying water correctly. Clean the exterior of the nozzle with a vinegar-dampened cloth. If this does not restore nozzle spray, refer to the "Blocked nozzle" corrective action that follows. Remove the nozzle with a 7/16 socket wrench. Place the nozzle in a container filled with white vinegar sufficient to cover the nozzle. Let the nozzle soak for five minutes, then scrub the tip of the nozzle with a toothbrush to remove any residue. Rinse the nozzle and reinsert it into the dryer. Tighten by hand, then tighten an additional turn with the wrench. Turn off the circuit breaker and call customer service (page 32).
Nozzle is clogged. The tap(s) is/are not open.
LED or button illuminated on control panel when Cycle Selector is turned to "Off" position Fault condition No action required. The intermittent LED will stop blinking.
