Winding, Date Adjustment, Time-Setting

  1. Wind the watch by approximately 40 clockwise turns of the crown.
  2. Pull the crown out to position 3 to adjust the hour and minute, referring to the 24H display to avoid confusion (e.g., 10 am vs. 10 pm).
  3. Place the crown in position 2. Turn it anticlockwise to show the correct month. Then position the hand on the correct date.
  4. Set the correct day using a soft point on the corrector at 10 o'clock.
  5. Push the crown back into position 1.

Using the Chronograph: Measuring a Single Short Time

  1. Press pushpiece A to start the chronograph. Hand 3 shows the measurement in seconds.
  2. Stop the measurement by pressing pushpiece A again. Measurement is in hours (totalizer 1), minutes (totalizer 2), seconds, and 1/4 of a second (hand 3).
  3. Reset to zero by pressing pushpiece B.

Using the Tachymeter

  1. Average Speed: Measure time to cover 1 km or 1 mile. The second hand's final position indicates average speed (e.g., 20 seconds = 180 km/h or 180 mph).
  2. Hourly Productivity Rate: Measure time to produce 1 unit. (e.g., 40 seconds = 90 units/hour).

24H Display

This display supplements the conventional hour, minute, and seconds. It also serves as an AM/PM indicator when setting the time.
