Basic Operation Summary:
- Check engine oil and fuel levels before each use.
- Ensure the lawnmower is on a firm, level surface.
- Before checking underneath, remove the spark plug cap.
- Inspect the underside for debris.
- Verify the HT lead is correctly fitted to the spark plug.
- For 400 Series engines, set the throttle to the FAST position.
- Prime the engine 3 to 10 times by pressing the primer bulb.
- Hold the Operator Presence Control (OPC) lever against the handle during starting and operation.
- Pull the cord to start the engine.
