Warranty Information
Café will replace any part of the cooktop that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship within one year of purchase.
- Using The Cooktop: Turn burners on by touching and holding the On/Off pad for half a second. Adjust power levels by swiping the gray arc, touching anywhere along the arc, or using the + and - pads. Turn burners off by touching the On/Off pad for an individual burner.
- Sync Burners: Connect two burners by touching the Sync Burners pad. Operate as usual to adjust power. Turn off by touching the On/Off pad on either burner or touching Sync Burners again.
- Lockout: Press and hold the Control Lock pad for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the controls.
- Timer: Touch the Timer pad, then use the A or V arrows to set the desired minutes. The timer starts automatically. Hold the Timer pad for 3 seconds to cancel.
- Wi-Fi Commissioning: Follow on-screen prompts and the Cafe App to connect to Wi-Fi.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Press and hold the Precision Cooking pad to enter pairing mode. Follow device-specific instructions.
- Precision Cooking: Select a burner, then use the On/Off pad or Sync Burners to initiate. Choose between App Control or Local Control to set precise temperatures.
- Griddle: Place and remove the griddle when cool and burners are off. Use Sync Burners to turn on all surface units for the griddle.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| Surface elements will not maintain a rolling boil or cooking is slow | Improper cookware being used. | Use pans that are recommended for induction, have flat bottoms and match the size of the surface element. |
| Surface elements do not work properly | Cooktop controls improperly set. | Check to be sure the correct control is set for the surface element you are using. |
| Power arc ON indicator blinking | Wrong pan type. | Use a magnet to check that cookware is induction compatible. |
| Scratches on cooktop glass surface | Incorrect cleaning methods being used. | Use recommended cleaning procedures. See the Cleaning the glass cooktop section. |
| Areas of discoloration on the cooktop | Cookware with rough bottoms being used or coarse particles (salt or sand) were between the cookware and the surface of the cooktop. Cookware has been slid across the cooktop surface. | To avoid scratches, use the recommended cleaning procedures. Make sure bottoms of cookware are clean before use, and use cookware with smooth bottoms. |

| Precision Cooking button beeps error tone when pressed one time | There is no precision cooking device paired, so you are unable to start a precision cooking mode. | Connect a precision cooking device. |

| My precision probe is not accurately maintaining low temperatures | The pot size, pot set-up, and/or burner size you are using may be unsuitable to hold low temperatures. | Remove the lid, use a larger diameter pot, or use a smaller burner. |
| The unit cancelled my precision cooking mode | Some cooking techniques and set temperatures in combination may trigger a fault in the temperature sensing algorithm. | Re-start the precision cooking mode and if problem persists under the same conditions but is not consistent in other use cases, contact the unit manufacturer. |
