Scenario Troubleshooting Steps
Wireless connection is not working properly. Wireless phones, microwaves, refrigerators, and other appliances can interfere with the wireless signal. Try using the camcorder away from such devices. Turn off the camcorder and wireless router. Wait a moment, then turn them back on and retry the Wi-Fi connection. If the problem persists, contact Canon service.
Cannot perform WPS setup. Turn off the camcorder and wireless router. Wait a moment and turn them back on, then try again. If the problem persists, manually set up the Wi-Fi connection. For some wireless routers, you may need to press and hold the WPS button. Refer to the wireless router's instruction manual for details. Press [OK] on the camcorder screen within 2 minutes of activating the WPS signal on the wireless router, regardless of how the signal was activated (button press or PIN entry).
Several access points detected. Try again. Multiple wireless routers (access points) are transmitting WPS signals simultaneously. Try the operation again later, or perform WPS setup using the PIN code option.
