Limited warranty covers defective parts and labor for one year from purchase date, with exceptions for video heads.

To attach the battery pack, turn the power switch to OFF, move the viewfinder upward, and then attach the battery pack to the camcorder until it clicks. To charge the battery pack, connect the power cord to the adapter, plug it into a power outlet, and then connect the power adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal. The CHARGE indicator will flash while charging and glow steadily when complete. To prepare the camcorder, adjust the viewfinder's dioptric adjustment lever for clear viewing. Fasten the grip belt for comfortable handling. The shoulder strap can be attached to the strap mounts for carrying.

To set the time zone, date, and time, press the MENU button, navigate to SYSTEM, select T.ZONE/DST, choose your time zone, then select D/TIME SET to set the date and time. Press MENU again to close the menu and start the clock.
