Getting Started

Charging the Battery Pack

The camcorder can be powered with a battery pack or directly using the compact power adapter. Fully charge the battery pack the first time you use it. Ensure the battery pack is completely exhausted before recharging. This ensures accurate recording time display. Refer to Charging Times (190) and Recording and Playback Times (190) for details.

Preparing the Accessories

Wireless Controller Insert the CR2025 lithium button battery into the wireless controller. Press the tab to pull out the battery holder, insert the battery with the + side up, and then reinsert the holder. To use, point the controller at the camcorder's remote sensor. The LCD panel can be rotated 180 degrees to use the controller from the front.
