Getting Started

Charging the Battery Pack

Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter, plug it into a power outlet, and then connect the adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal. Attach the battery pack by pressing it softly into the battery attachment unit until it clicks. Charging begins when the camcorder is turned off.

To remove the battery pack

Slide the BATTERY RELEASE switch in the direction of the arrow, then pull the battery pack out.

Preparing the Accessories

Wireless Controller

Insert the CR2025 lithium button battery into the wireless controller by pressing the tab, pulling out the battery holder, placing the battery with the + side up, and then inserting the holder.

Grip Belt and Straps

Fasten the grip belt, adjusting it for comfortable reach of the zoom lever and START/STOP button. To remove, lift the handgrip flap, detach the strap from the Velcro pad, and unthread it from the brackets.
