Getting Started
1. Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter.
2. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
3. Connect the compact power adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal.
4. Attach the battery pack to the camcorder, pressing it into the battery attachment unit until it clicks.
Charging the Battery Pack
Charging starts when the camcorder is turned off. The ON/OFF (CHG) indicator turns red while charging and goes out when fully charged. If it flashes, refer to Troubleshooting.
Removing the Battery Pack
Slide the BATTERY RELEASE switch in the direction of the arrow, hold it pressed down, slide the battery pack, and pull it out.
