Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter, plug into a power outlet, connect the adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal, and attach the battery pack by sliding it into the battery attachment unit until it clicks.
Using a Memory Card: Insert a compatible SD or SDHC memory card into the appropriate slot (A or B). You can record to the built-in memory or the memory card.
