Getting Started
1. Turn off the camcorder.
2. Attach the battery pack by sliding it into the battery attachment unit until it clicks.
3. Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter.
4. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
5. Connect the compact power adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal. The CHG (charge) indicator will flash.
Charging the Battery Pack
Charge the battery pack before use. The indicator stays on when charging is completed. The compact power adapter can be used without a battery pack attached, and the battery pack's power will not be consumed when connected.
