1. **Basic Setup:** Turn on the camcorder, select language, date/time format, and set the date and time. 2. **Install Instruction Manual:** Insert the CD-ROM and follow the on-screen prompts to install the PDF manual. 3. **Charge Battery:** Charge the NB-4L battery pack using the supplied charger until the indicator turns green. 4. **Insert Memory Card:** With the camcorder off, open the memory card slot cover and insert the memory card with the label side facing up. 5. **Adjust Camcorder:** Adjust the LCD panel angle and built-in stand for your shooting style. 6. **Shoot Video/Photos:** Turn on the camcorder, touch the record button to start video recording or press the photo button to take a photo. Turn off the camcorder when finished. 7. **Playback:** Press and hold the playback button, touch the desired thumbnail to play. Touch [Edit] [Delete] to delete recordings.
