Warranty Information

The limited warranty covers defects for one year from the date of original purchase.

Basic Operations:

  • Power: Use the supplied power adapter or battery pack. Ensure the battery is charged before first use.
  • Loading Cassette: Slide the OPEN/EJECT switch, open the compartment, load the cassette with the window facing the grip belt, press the PUSH mark until it clicks, and close the cover.
  • Recording: Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, press the START/STOP button.
  • Playback: Set the POWER switch to PLAY (VCR), load a cassette, and use the playback controls.
  • Viewfinder Adjustment: Turn on the camcorder, close the LCD panel, and adjust the diopter adjustment lever for a clear image.
  • Accessories: Ensure the correct accessories are attached, such as the lens cap and grip belt, shoulder strap, and the accessory shoe cover is removed when using accessories.

Troubleshooting and error codes

A vertical light bar appears on the screen.Lens is dirty.Clean the lens.
Sound is distorted or recorded in a lower volume than the actual volume.Bright light in a dark scene may cause a vertical light bar (smear) to appear. This is not a malfunction.
When recording near loud sound (such as fireworks, drums or concerts), sound may become distorted or may not be recorded in the actual sound level. This is not a malfunction.
