Canon U.S.A. provides a one-year limited warranty on parts and labor for this camcorder.
1. Powering Up: Attach the battery pack, then turn the POWER switch to the desired mode (CAMERA, PLAY (VCR), or NETWORK). The POWER indicator will light up.
2. Setting Time Zone, Date, and Time: Press the MENU button, navigate to SYSTEM, then select T.ZONE/DST and D/TIME SET to configure these settings.
3. Recording: Select the desired operating mode using the POWER switch and TAPE/CARD switch. Press the START/STOP button to begin recording and again to stop.
4. Playback: Ensure the camcorder is in PLAY (VCR) mode. Use the PLAY button to start playback and the PAUSE button to pause.
5. Using Memory Card: For still images or movies, ensure the TAPE/CARD switch is set to CARD. Insert an SD Memory Card and use the relevant buttons (PHOTO, CARD STILL/MOVIE) to capture or play back content.
