Thank you for purchasing the Canon Network Camera VB-C60. This Operation Guide explains how to set up and use the VB-C60, providing detailed instructions for its various functions. Accessing the Camera Interface

  • Access the camera's top page via a web browser using its IP address (default: 192.168.100.1).
  • From the top page, you can navigate to the Setting Menu for detailed configuration or the VB-C60 Viewer to display video.
  • User authentication (default: User name 'root', Password 'VB-C60') is required for accessing the Setting Menu and Admin Viewer.

Key Features and Settings

  • Setting Menu: Allows configuration of Network settings (administrator password, LAN, IPv6, DNS, SNMP), Date and Time, Camera settings (name, initial settings, control, day/night, etc.), Image settings (quality, size, frame rate), Upload options (HTTP/FTP, e-mail), Server settings (image, audio, HTTP), Event settings (image buffer, motion detection, interval timer), Access Control, and IPsec.
  • VBAdmin Tools: Includes tools for panorama creation, view restriction, preset settings, motion detection, log viewing, and administration.
  • VB-C60 Viewer: Provides two viewing modes: "Admin Viewer" for full control and "VB Viewer" for standard viewing.
