The limited warranty covers defective materials or workmanship for one year for parts and labor.
The camcorder can be powered by a battery pack or AC adapter. To charge the battery, connect the AC adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal and then to a power outlet. Attach the battery pack by sliding it into the unit until it clicks. Remove the battery pack by sliding the release switch and pulling the pack down. The camcorder can be prepared by attaching the lens hood and adjusting the viewfinder and LCD screen. The grip belt should be adjusted for comfortable access to controls.
