This limited warranty covers defective parts and labor for one year from the date of purchase, with exceptions for the video head.
The camcorder can be powered by a battery pack or directly using the compact power adapter. For first-time use of a battery pack, fully charge it and then use the camcorder until the battery pack is exhausted to ensure accurate remaining recording time display. Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter, plug it into a power outlet, and then connect the adapter to the camcorder's DC IN terminal. Attach the battery pack by sliding it into the attachment unit until it clicks. Charging starts when the camcorder is off, indicated by a flashing red ON/OFF (CHG) light. To remove the battery pack, slide the BATTERY RELEASE switch and then slide and pull out the battery pack.
