- Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the compact power adapter to the camcorder and plug the power cord into a power outlet. Attach the battery pack to the camcorder until it clicks. Charging starts when the camcorder is turned off. The ON/OFF (CHG) indicator shows charging status.
- Attaching the Lens Hood: Align the groove on the lens hood with the bottom of the lens and turn clockwise until it clicks.
- Using the Viewfinder: Pull out the viewfinder. Press POWER to turn on the camcorder. Adjust the viewfinder using the dioptric adjustment lever.
