Charging the Battery Pack: Plug the compact power adapter into a power outlet and connect it to the camcorder's DC IN terminal. Attach the battery pack to the camcorder by pressing it softly into the battery attachment unit and sliding it up until it clicks. Charging starts when the camcorder is turned off. The POWER/CHG indicator turns red during charging and goes out when fully charged. Disconnect the adapter when charging is complete. Inserting a Memory Card: Open the LCD panel. Turn off the camcorder by pressing ON/OFF. Open the memory card slot cover and insert the memory card at a slight angle with the label facing the lens. Close the memory card slot cover. Basic Setup: Turn on the camcorder by opening the LCD panel or pressing ON/OFF. Follow the on-screen prompts to select language, date/time format, and set the date and time. Choose between built-in memory or a memory card for storage. Touch OK to complete setup. Shooting Video and Taking Photos: Turn on the camcorder and open the lens cover. Press START/STOP to begin recording video, and again to stop. Touch the photo icon to capture a still image. Close the lens cover and turn off the camcorder when finished. Playing Back Video and Viewing Photos: Press the playback button. The index screen will display recordings. Touch the thumbnail of the scene or photo you wish to play back. Touch the screen during playback to access playback controls. Wi-Fi Functions: Install the required app on your smartphone or tablet. Select the desired Wi-Fi function on the camcorder and wirelessly connect your device. Refer to the PDF Instruction Manual for detailed procedures.
