1. Installing the Instruction Manual: Install the PDF manual from the CD-ROM for detailed information.
2. Charging & Battery: Charge the NB-4L battery pack using the supplied charger. Fully charged in about 1 hr 30 min. Insert charged battery into camcorder.
3. Memory Card: Insert microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card. Initialize if necessary.
4. Basic Setup: Turn on the camcorder. Select language and set date/time.
5. Adjusting Camcorder: Adjust LCD panel and built-in stand angle for shooting style.
6. Shooting/Photos: Turn on camcorder. Touch [] to record video or the photo button for photos. Turn off when finished.
7. Playback: Press [] button to open index screen. Touch thumbnail to play. Touch to display controls. To delete, use [Edit] [Delete] options.
