Starting Up the Camcorder

  1. Attach the battery pack or connect the USB power adapter.
  2. Turn on the camcorder using the power switch.
  3. Adjust the LCD screen and viewfinder for comfortable viewing.
  4. Insert an SD card for recording.

Basic Recording

  1. Set the camera mode (e.g., AUTO, M).
  2. Select the video format (MP4 or XF-AVC).
  3. Frame your shot using the LCD screen or viewfinder.
  4. Press the START/STOP button to begin recording.
  5. Press the START/STOP button again to pause or stop recording.

Playback and Management

  1. Press the review button to access recorded clips.
  2. Use the playback controls to play, pause, or navigate through clips.
  3. Manage clips by deleting or copying them to a computer.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Camcorder does not turn on Battery pack is not attached or is depleted. Attach a charged battery pack or connect the USB power adapter.
No image is recorded SD card is not inserted or is full. Insert a new SD card or delete unnecessary clips.
Poor image quality Lens is dirty or obstructed. Clean the lens with a soft cloth. Ensure the lens hood is properly attached.
Audio is distorted Microphone input levels are too high. Adjust the microphone sensitivity or use the attenuator.
Cannot connect to computer USB cable is not properly connected or the camcorder is in the wrong mode. Ensure the USB cable is securely connected. Turn off the camcorder before connecting. Refer to section on USB connection.
