Preparation: Ensure the camera is powered, load a MiniDV cassette, and attach accessories like the lens and shoulder pad. Adjust the viewfinder for comfortable viewing.
Mounting Lenses: Align the red dot on the lens with the camera body and twist clockwise to lock. To remove, slide the LENS RELEASE switch and turn counter-clockwise.
Powering Up: Connect the DC coupler to the camera and power adapter, then plug into an AC outlet, or charge and attach the battery pack.
Basic Recording: Ensure a cassette is loaded and power is on. Use the camera menu to select settings like recording mode and audio input.
