Canon ZR40 Digital Video Camcorder Limited Warranty covers defects in material or workmanship for one year (3 months for video heads).

Getting Started:
Ensure power source is attached, lens cap removed, grip belt fastened, and display (viewfinder/LCD) is chosen. To record, press the POWER switch to CAMERA. The camcorder enters record pause mode. Press the start/stop button to begin recording, and again to pause. To finish, turn the POWER switch to OFF and disconnect the power source. Ensure the correct recording mode (SP/LP) is selected. 16:9 wide screen recording is also available. Confirmation beeps indicate operations and warnings, and can be turned on/off.
