Getting Started:
1. Charge the battery pack.
2. Attach the battery pack and connect the compact power adapter.
3. Turn on the camcorder and open the lens cover.
4. Adjust the viewfinder and grip belt.
5. Use the joystick to navigate menus and settings.
Basic Functions:
• Recording: Use the POWER switch to select CAMERA mode. Press the start/stop button to begin recording.
• Playback: Use the POWER switch to select PLAY mode. Press the playback button to start playback. Use joystick for navigation.

Troubleshooting and error codes

| CONDENSATION HAS BEEN DETECTED | The camcorder has been moved between extreme temperatures. Shut off the camcorder, remove the cassette, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to adjust to temperature changes slowly. Wait 1 hour after the warning stops flashing before resuming use. |
| REMOVE THE CASSETTE | Condensation detected and a cassette is loaded. Remove the cassette immediately and leave the compartment open. A cassette cannot be loaded when condensation is detected. |
