First, charge the battery!

1. Load the battery.
2. Place the camera onto the USB cradle to charge the battery. It takes about two hours to achieve a full charge.

To configure display language and clock settings

1. Press the power button to turn on the camera.
2. Press [▲] to select the language you want.
3. Press [SET] to register the language setting.
4. Use navigation buttons and [SET] to select geographical area, city, summer time, and date format.
5. Set the date and time.
6. Press [SET] to register clock settings.

To record an image

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Set the mode selector to "REC".
3. Point the camera at the subject, compose the image, and press the shutter release button halfway.
4. When focus is achieved (green focus frame and lamp), press the shutter release button fully.

To view a recorded image

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Set the mode selector to "PLAY".
3. Use navigation buttons to scroll through images.

To delete an image

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Set the mode selector to "PLAY".
3. Press [▼] to access options.
4. Use navigation buttons to display the image to delete.
5. Select "Delete" and press [SET].
