Installation Guide for AIR-PWRINJ1500-2

The Cisco Aironet Series Power Injector AIR-PWRINJ1500-2= combines 56-VDC power with a data signal to extend wireless LAN deployment flexibility. It provides up to 80W over all four wire pairs of shielded, outdoor-rated Ethernet cable. Ensure Ethernet cable lengths are between 10-140 ft (3-42 m) from AP to injector, and a total of 320 ft (100 m) from AP to switch. Use shielded CAT5e or higher Ethernet cables. The power injector must be mounted vertically. It includes an AC power receptacle for the main disconnect and two RJ-45 ports: one to the access point and one to the switch. LEDs indicate AP power, fault, and AC power status.
