The VWIC-2MFT-T1-DIR and VWIC-2MFT-E1-DIR Voice/WAN Interface Cards support data applications on the Cisco MWR 1941-DC Router for T1/E1 networks. These cards are dual-port, T1/Fractional T1 or E1/Fractional E1, Drop and Insert Multiplexers. They support framed and unframed traffic and can be flexibly split into two fractional channel groups. The installation involves powering off the router, removing a blank filler panel, aligning and inserting the card, and securing it with screws. Connection details vary for redundant and non-redundant configurations, with Y-cables used for redundancy.
