Welcome
The Cisco Small Business Smart Storage, NSS324 and NSS326, are Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices that appear as a native file server for various clients within your network. They provide a single repository for data storage, ensuring integrity, reliability, and accessibility at a low cost.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following before installation:
- Internet connectivity (optional)
- Small Phillips screwdriver
- Ethernet switch or router
- 1-6 SATA 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch disk drives (not included with some models)
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with USB connection (recommended)
- Properly grounded anti-static wrist strap (recommended)
Installation Steps
- Install the disk drives into the NAS chassis.
- Connect the NAS device to your network using an Ethernet cable.
- Connect the power cord and power on the NAS.
- Configure the NAS using the Setup Wizard from the product CD or the LCD display.
Troubleshooting and error codes
