Warranty Information

Cobra Electronics warrants the CDR 810 against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of first consumer purchase.

Turning On/Off: Press the on/off button to turn the unit on, press and hold the on/off button to turn the unit off.
Continuous Cyclical Recording: The camera continuously overwrites the oldest footage recorded. Press the Lock File Button to protect a clip from being overwritten.
Navigating the Menu: Press the Menu Button to enter the menu. Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate and the File Lock/Enter Button to select. Press Menu again to exit.
Video Recording: Press the Record Button to start and stop recording. The REC indicator light will flash while recording.
Taking Photographs: Press the Photograph/Playback Button to enter photograph mode and press again to take a photo. Press Record Button to return to video mode.
Viewing Videos/Photos: Enter Playback Mode by pressing and holding the Photograph/Playback Button. Use up/down arrows to cycle and File Lock/Enter to play/stop.
G-Sensor: Detects accidents and locks the current video segment. Sensitivity is adjustable.
LED Headlight: Tap the ON/OFF button while recording to turn on LED highlights.
AV OUT: Connect AV Cable to TV/monitor for playback.
Battery: Provides 15 seconds of power after loss of power. Manual recording on battery lasts approx. 1.5 hours.
USB: Powers the DVR and connects to PC for file transfers. Choose Mass Storage or USB Charge.
Reset: Press with a sharp point if the unit freezes. Does not erase recordings.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Unit freezes or does not turn on. Use a sharp point to press the Reset button.
Cannot view files on computer via USB. Ensure the correct USB mode (Mass Storage or USB Charge) is selected on the Dash Cam. Try a different USB port or cable.
No recording is happening. Ensure a compatible Micro SD card is inserted and has sufficient space. Check that the device is powered on.
Video quality is poor. Clean the camera lens. Ensure the correct video resolution is selected in the settings. Avoid recording in extreme low light conditions unless LED headlights are used.
Device will not charge. Ensure the cigarette lighter adapter and USB cable are properly connected. Try a different power outlet.
