Warranty Information

Cobra Electronics Corporation warrants this product for one year from the date of first consumer purchase.

Powering On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn on. Press and hold for three seconds to turn off. The device can be charged via car charger or USB cable and runs on its internal battery for short periods. Note: Connecting the car charger automatically powers on and starts recording.
Modes: Toggle between Video Mode, Still Photo Mode, Video Playback Mode, and Still Photo Playback Mode using the MODE button. Cannot switch modes while recording.
Video Recording: Press RECORD to start/stop. Press FILE LOCK to protect a clip. Use UP/DOWN buttons to toggle microphone or screen on/off.
Still Photos: Press RECORD to take a picture. Use UP/DOWN buttons to zoom.
Playback: Use UP/DOWN to navigate files. Press RECORD to play. Adjust volume and delete files via the Playback menu.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Unit not operating properly
  • Ensure power cord is properly connected.
  • Ensure vehicle's cigarette lighter socket is clean and free of corrosion.
  • Ensure power cord adapter is firmly seated and Status LED is on.
  • Check power cord fuse (2-amp fuse).
