Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Road Scout does not seem to detect radar consistently at long ranges If using AUTO sensitivity mode, be aware that AUTO mode changes X and K radar detection range based on speed. Select HIGH sensitivity mode to always detect radar at maximum distances. Ka radar is always detected at maximum range.
I cannot get my phone to find Road Scout's Wi-Fi in camera mode Ensure Camera Wi-Fi mode is enabled (a ring surrounds the display). If not, hold the BRT button until "CAMERA" Wi-Fi Mode" is announced. Check for Wi-Fi interference; try enabling Airplane mode on your phone.
I am connected to my car's Wi-Fi hotspot but I am not receiving speed limits or Live alerts Ensure the Wi-Fi icon is white and a ring surrounds the display (iRadar Wi-Fi mode). Verify your car's Wi-Fi hotspot has internet connectivity. Ensure you have an active iRadar account. Connect Road Scout to your smartphone via Bluetooth and verify subscription expiration date in the iRadar app. Contact Cobra customer service if issues persist.
