General Information: The single-family door entry monitor kits Art. 8471MB are designed for residential or service sector buildings requiring effective access control and simple installation. The system uses a 2-wire connection between the external unit and internal monitors for calls, audio, video, and self-ignition. Additional wires are needed for powering the external unit, electric lock, and internal monitor.

• Expandable system with various accessories.
• Up to 2 external units and 3 internal units (monitors/door-entry phones) per single-family configuration.
• Supports single-family intercom communications between users with the same code.
• Can be connected to a Simplebus main entrance panel or a switchboard.
• External Unit (Art. 4880): Features include adjustable camera with infrared lighting, LED nameplate illumination, and microphone/loudspeaker volume control. Factory set to call address 1.
• Power Supply (Art. 1205/B): Transformer provides separate outputs for the external unit/electric lock and the monitor.

Installation: Installation involves connecting the external unit to the power supply and internal monitors. Internal units are mounted and connected similarly. Programming of user codes and button functions is done via microswitches and DIP selectors on the monitors.
