Quick Operation Guide
General Operation: Always read and understand the manual before starting. Only allow responsible adults to operate. Clear the area of objects. Ensure the area is clear of people. Never carry passengers. Look behind before backing. Be aware of discharge direction. Slow down before turning. Never leave unattended. Turn off blades when not mowing. Mow only in daylight or good light. Do not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Watch for traffic. Use extra care when loading/unloading.
Slope Operation: Mow up and down slopes, not across. Remove obstacles. Watch for holes/ruts. Use slow speed. Keep movements slow and gradual. Avoid starting/stopping on slopes. Do not turn on slopes unless necessary, and then, slowly downhill. Do not mow near drop-offs. Do not mow on wet grass. Do not try to stabilize the machine with your foot. Do not use grass catcher on steep slopes.
Starting Engine: Ensure freewheel control is engaged. Sit on seat, depress clutch/brake, set parking brake. Place motion control in neutral. Move attachment clutch to 'DISENGAGED'. Move throttle to fast. Use choke for cold start. Insert key and turn to 'START'. Release key when engine starts.
