Vacuuming Dry Materials: Ensure the filter is correctly installed. Empty the drum and clean the filter frequently for optimal performance, especially when vacuuming fine dust. A dry filter is essential for dry pickup; a wet filter can clog easily. If the filter is wet but needed, dry it by running the vac without the hose for about 10 minutes.

Vacuuming Liquids: Do not remove the filter cage or float; they prevent overflow. For small liquid amounts, the filter can remain. For large amounts, remove the filter to prevent saturation and misting. The float mechanism will automatically shut off airflow when the drum is nearly full. Turn off the vac, unplug, and empty the drum when this occurs.

Blowing Feature: Locate the blowing port. Insert the hose's locking end into the port. Optional extension wands and nozzles can be attached. Turn the vac on to use the blowing function.
