Product Setup:

  1. Download the mydlink app from the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
  2. Launch the app, create or sign in to your account.
  3. Scan the QR code on the Quick Install Card or device label when prompted.

Connection:

  • Wireless: Plug in the USB power adapter and wait for the PWR LED to change from red to blinking orange.
  • Wired: Plug in the USB power adapter and Ethernet cable. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your router. Wait for both PWR and LINK LEDs to turn green.

Mounting:

  1. Mark mounting holes on the desired location.
  2. Drill holes and insert anchors (if needed).
  3. Mount the bracket using screws.
  4. Attach the camera to the bracket with the thumbscrew and connect the power cable.
  5. Adjust the arm angle and tighten the thumbscrew.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Image is out of focus Turn the focus ring on the front of the camera to adjust focus.
Camera view is hazy or bright during night vision IR night vision lights may be reflecting off nearby surfaces. Reposition the camera to avoid glare.
Forgot camera password Perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the RESET button for at least 10 seconds while the camera is plugged in. This will restore factory default settings.
