The Switch's serial port's default settings are configured for VT-100 emulation at 9600bps. Connect a computer with a terminal emulation program to the switch using an RJ-45 cable. Upon successful connection, a CLI screen will appear where commands can be input.
Setting the Switch's IP Address:
The switch's default IP address is 10.90.90.90. This can be changed using the 'config ipif System ipaddress ' command via the CLI. This IP address is essential for network management and communication with SNMP managers or other TCP/IP applications.
