Warranty Information

Manufacturer's warranty is void for damage caused by incorrect application or unit mishandling.

**Pre-start up:** Check electrical connections, fan motors, grills, and fasteners for tightness. Ensure the thermostatic expansion valve bulb is properly located, strapped, and insulated. Verify system operating voltage is within +/- 10% of the unit nameplate.

**Operation Checkout:** Initiate a defrost cycle when frost buildup impedes airflow. Monitor and adjust defrost requirements based on installation, season, and conditions. Check drain line for clarity and alignment to prevent overflow. Be aware of potential temperature rise during electric defrost.

**Preventative Maintenance:** Establish a schedule upon installation. Periodically inspect for proper operation and dirt buildup. Clean the drain pan and cabinet with warm water and neutral detergent. Check evaporator coil for proper defrosting monthly, adjusting cycles as needed. Check fan motors every six months, tightening screws.

**Troubleshooting:** Address issues like excessive frost buildup by adjusting defrost time, room humidity, or heater capacity. Resolve drain pan ice/water accumulation by cleaning and insulating the drain line. Investigate noise by fixing vibrating parts or fan alignment. For high room temperatures, check thermostat settings, refrigerant supply, or unit combination against cooling load. Ensure proper defrosting frequency and unit selection.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES CORRECTIVE ACTION
Excessive buildup of frost on coil. Defrost time is too short. Extend defrost time on timer.
Too high humidity in room. Limit access to cooler; do not keep doors open during stocking.
Heater capacity is too small. Change to bigger capacity or add more heater.
Accumulation of ice or water in drain pan. Drain line plugged. Clean drain line. Make sure drain line is insulated properly.
Drain pipe does not have slope angle. Install the drain line with slope.
Indoor unit not align or install in level at all directions. Check unit installation and align the unit level at all directions.
Drain line does not have drain trap Install drain line trap.
Noise Resonance on the vibrating mounting parts. Fix the position of vibrating part correctly.
Vibration of fan or fan mounting misaligned. Fix the position of fan correctly; replace if defective.
Room temperature too high/ not cold Room thermostat defect. Check thermostat setting and replace if any. Check sensor location.
Insufficient or no refrigerant supply to evaporator Investigate cause (leakage, choking, etc.), repair fault and charge system if necessary.
Frost build up on evaporator coil Defrost the coil and clean the frost.
Defrosting too frequent Reduce defrost cycle frequency.
Wrong combination of unit: -Unit cooler is too big against to outdoor unit -Unit cooler is too small against to cooling load Review and reselect the unit combination.
