Working on your computer

Before working inside your computer, ensure you have read the safety information and disconnected all power sources. Turn off the computer properly and ground yourself before touching any internal components. To avoid damaging the computer, ensure a flat and clean work surface, turn off the computer, disconnect all network and electrical outlets, and press and hold the power button to ground the system board before removing the cover. After working inside the computer, replace all covers and panels before reconnecting power and turning it on. Verify functionality by running Dell Diagnostics if required.
