Connecting External Devices to the APR

Refer to Figure 1-1 to attach external devices to the appropriate connectors on the back of the APR. Tighten thumbscrews if present. For SCSI devices, a SCSI PC Card is required. Do not plug a telephone line into the NIC connector.

Connecting the Computer to the APR

1. Save work, exit programs, and shut down the computer.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the APR.
3. Position the computer over the APR platform, aligning it with the platform wings.
4. Lower the computer until the docking connectors engage with a click.
5. Turn on the computer.

Disconnecting the Computer From the APR

1. Save work, exit programs, and shut down the computer.
2. Press the left and right release buttons simultaneously.
3. Lift the computer away from the APR.
