Getting Started: Remove back cover, insert SIM and microSD cards (optional), insert battery, close cover, and charge the phone.
Lock Screen: Phone enters sleep mode automatically. Press power/lock button to wake. Unlock by touching and dragging to the right. Set screen lock via Settings > Location & Security.
Dell Stage: Customize seven Home screens with widgets for quick access to apps, contacts, etc. Swipe left/right to navigate.
Status Bar: Displays notifications, phone status, and time at the top. Drag down to open notification panel.
Making Calls: Use the Phone app. Dial on screen or select from contacts. Switch apps during calls by holding Home and selecting the app icon.
Answering Calls: Swipe green icon right to answer, red icon left to reject.
Launching Apps: Touch the Launcher icon on the Home screen. Swipe to view apps. Touch an icon to open. Touch and hold to create shortcuts.
Touch Gestures: Flick to scroll, stretch to zoom in, pinch to zoom out.
Text Input: Use onscreen keyboard, supports Swype. Switch keyboards via Input method in text field options.
Messaging: Send SMS/MMS via the Messaging app. Type recipient and message. Attach files or add subject via the menu.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth: Connect to Wi-Fi via Settings > Wireless & networks. Pair Bluetooth devices similarly.
Internet: Use the Browser app to surf the web. Enter URLs or search terms. Zoom with gestures.
Search: Use Google Search app. Type keywords to find info on phone or internet.
Camera: Use the camera button to take photos and videos. Half-press to focus, full press to capture.
Android Market: Download apps and games. Browse free and paid options. Ensure internet connection.
