Precautions:

• Safety Warnings: Only qualified service engineers should service the printer. High voltages and lasers are dangerous. Use only Dell replacement parts. Avoid unauthorized changes.
• Laser Safety: The printer is a Class 1 laser product. Never operate or service with the protective cover removed.
• Toxic Material: The LCD control panel liquid is toxic. Avoid contact and consult a doctor if ingested or spilled. Keep drum and toner cartridges away from children.
• Electric Shock and Fire Safety: Use correct voltage and power cable. Do not overload sockets. Keep liquids and foreign objects out. Do not touch plugs with wet hands. Disconnect power before servicing. Use caution when inserting/removing power connectors. Protect the power cable from damage. Ensure sockets/plugs are not cracked. Use caution during thunderstorms. Avoid damp/dusty areas. Do not position in direct sunlight. Do not insert metal objects into the machine.
• Handling Precautions: Install on a level surface. Be careful of rotating parts. Keep liquids and metal objects away. Avoid high dust/moisture areas. Do not place flammable items on the printer.
• Assembly/Disassembly: Note user settings before replacing mainboard/network card. Disconnect power and cables before servicing. Use approved spare parts. Do not use excessive force. Take care not to drop small parts. Handle OPC Drum carefully to avoid light exposure.
• Bodily Injury: Be careful of high temperature parts (fuser unit). Do not put fingers/hair into rotating parts. Use safe lifting techniques. Ensure the printer is installed safely on a level surface.
• ESD Precautions: Semiconductor devices are sensitive to static electricity. Follow guidelines to prevent damage, including grounding yourself and using anti-static tools.
• Super Capacitor/Lithium Battery: Exercise caution during replacement due to explosion risk. Use only manufacturer-recommended types. Dispose of batteries properly.
